MCV & KJV – Paul’s Alleged First Letter to Timothy – Part 4 – 1 Timothy Chapter 4

Introduction

I do hope that you are enjoying your journey of discovery regarding these Epistles, for it has been very challenging, to say the least, especially if you were, like me in the past, one who was delusionally very sure of their genuineness.

So without further ado let’s press on, for this chapter is even more tricky than the preceding chapters, in that it needs to be looked at from both angles, to see if it works from a genuine perspective or a forger’s perspective.

1 (MCV) Now the Set Apart Exclusive Spirit speaks distinctly, that in the last days some shall depart from The Faith, giving heed to the seducing spirits of The Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion with their teachings of The Adversary;

(KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 (MCV) Speaking lies in hypocrisy (those of The Synagogue of Satan); having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

(KJV) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Like these people here:

John 6:65-66 (MCV) And He said, Therefore said I unto you, that NO MAN can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 66 From that revelation many of His Learners went back, and walked no more with Him.

3 (MCV) Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from certain foods, which Yah hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know The Truth.

(KJV) Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

4 (MCV) For every creature of Yah is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

(KJV) For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

5 (MCV) For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

(KJV) For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

6 (MCV) If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good servant of Yashua Messiah, nourished up in The Sayings of Faith and of sound teaching, whereunto thou hast progressed.

(KJV) If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

7 (MCV) But refuse heathen and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

(KJV) But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

8 (MCV) For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

(KJV) For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

9 (MCV) This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

(KJV) This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

10 (MCV) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living Yahavah Yashua Messiah, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe, (again see link No. 3 below).

(KJV) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

11 (MCV) These things instruct and teach.

(KJV) These things command and teach.

12 (MCV) Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example to the believers, in sayings, in behaviour, in agape Love, in the Set Apart Exclusive Spirit, in Faith, in sexual purity.

(KJV) Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

13 (MCV) Till I come, give attendance to vain book learning, to piteous begging and to doctrinal nonsense.

(KJV) Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

14 (MCV) Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy (nonsense), with the laying on of the hands (no mention of baptism) of the presbytery (the Nicolaitan court – religious hierarchies).

(KJV) Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

15 (MCV) Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

(KJV) Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

16 (MCV) Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

(KJV) Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
